When we last left NCIS special agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) in the season 12 finale last May, he was lying on a street somewhere in the Middle East shot and severely wounded.
Will he survive in the Season 13 premiere of “NCIS” on Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. CDT on CBS? My money says he does. Kill off Gibbs, the foundation of the show? I don’t think so.
Entertainment Weekly has posted on its website and Facebook page an interview with Jon Cryer, fresh off his 12-year run on “Two and A Half Men”, who takes a dramatic turn as Dr. Taft, a navy surgeon, in charge of trying to save Gibbs.
Cryer will be in three episodes although the interview didn’t say if they were the first three of the season. I would assume they are.
I don’t want to say much more so that you can enjoy the interview. If you prefer a paper copy of Entertainment Weekly, the interview will be in the issue that arrives in stores Friday (Aug. 7)
