It’s that time of the week and time to tune into WYCC-TV Channel 20 in Chicago tonight (Wednesday, Oct. 27) for a another trip to their lineup of travel programs.
8 p.m. — “Rick Steves’ Europe” — Rick visits Italy’s Amalfi Coast with stops at the Positano resort, the town of Sorrento, Paestum’s Greek Temples and the Blue Grotto which is underneath the isle of Capri.
8:30 p.m. — “Joseph Rosendo’s Travelscope” — In the first part of a two-part episode, Joseph visits The Colors of Malaysia Festival which focuses on the states and people of Malaysia through music, dance and costumes.
9 p.m. — “Globe Trekker” — Poland is the destination tonight. Highlights include the church where Pope John Paul II served as a young priest, the anti-communist sculptures in Wroclaw and hunts for amber on the Pomeranian Coast. The program also visits the baroque streets of Gdansk and a galleon on the Motlawa River.
