It’s Wednesday (Dec. 16) and that means WYCC-TV in Chicago has another lineup of travel programs tonight.
8 p.m. (CST) — “Rick Steves’ Europe” — Rick visits the Burgundy region of France and highlights include a canal barge, a medieval hospice and a modern monastery. I’m a big fan of Rick’s program, but I thought his episodes focusing on France outside of Paris were exceptional.
8:30 p.m. — “Joseph Rosendo’s Travelscopre” — Joseph explores Alaska’s Inside Passage aboard a cruise ship. He’ll stop in Juneau, Skagway and Sitka along with Prince Rupert, B.C.
9 p.m. — “Globe Trekker” — Tonight’s stop is Switzerland. Highlights include Charlie Chaplin’s house in Vevey, golf in Riederalp, Gemini Pass, the Einstein Museum in Bern, military fortresses along Lake Lucerne, Gotthard Pass and Glacier Express.
UNTIL NEXT TIME. . .
