8 p.m. (CDT) — “Rick Steves’ Europe” — It’s the best of Slovenia. Stops include the capital of Ljubljana, the Lake Bled mountain resort, the Julian alps, a spelunking expedition and an Adriatic port.
8:30 p.m. — “Joseph Rosendo’s Travelscope” — Joseph’s next stop is Chile. He visits the capital of Santiago, goes glacier trekking in the Andes and tastes wine in the Maipo Valley. And he gets a taste of the night life of the port city of Valparaiso.
9 p.m. — “Globe Trekker” — The food of Ireland is explored. Host Bobby Chinn tastes oysters from Galway, goes fishing for salmon in Connemara and pays a visit to Westport where he meets the legendary Irish musical group, the Chieftains. He also visits a Nenagh agricultural show and a Tipperary baking competition.
