Want a little more travel with your TV watching on Saturday (July 9)?
“Rick Steves’ Europe” airs every Saturday at 5 p.m. on WTTW-TV in Chicago.
This week Rick visits what he calls Italy’s Riviera, Cinque Terre. He makes stops in Cinque Terre’s five villages — vineyard-surrounded Venazza, high on a bluff Corniglia, Manarola, Riomaggiore and the tiny resort area of Monterossi.
Other highlights of the trip include fishing for anchovies and sipping wine out of rustic barrels and enjoying some of the Mediterranean’s most beautiful vistas.
UNTIL NEXT TIME. . .
